Bee and Wasp Stings
Because Orajel is a topical anesthetic it works wonderfully in instantly numbing the pain of bee or wasp stings.

Applying Orajel to the skin on top of and surrounding the injury can quite often prevent it from bruising because it helps stop the blood vessels from constricting.
Burns
Rubbing some Orajel immediately over a burn can not only take away the pain instantly but in many cases even prevent it from blistering.
Cold Sores
Orajel can ease the pain and discomfort of cold sores due to its numbing ability. It is one of the uses even the company itself recommends.
Hemorrhoids
While most people might not make the connection between toothache soother and hemorrhoid pain, the anesthetic properties of Orajel will both help sooth and numb the area when applied.
Ingrown Toenails
When working on an ingrown toenail, Orajel can help numb the tissue around the nail making it much more comfortable.
Insect Bites
