The citric acid in Gatorade works well for removing stains from toilet bowls. Simply pout two cups of the lighter colored drink into the bowl, let if sit for abut an hour, then brush with a toilet bowl brush and flush.
Dehydration
One of Gatorades’ most important qualities is its ability to replace missing electrolytes due to excessive exercise, illness, fever or dehydration. Be sure to drink Gatorade if you think that dehydration is a possibility due to any of the circumstances listed above.
Diarrhea
Diarrhea can also cause dehydration, so Gatorade is a good way to replace the missing glucose and electrolytes that have been drained from your body.
Food Poisoning
Many people might not realize that food poisoning can also cause dehydration due to excessive vomiting or diarrhea. Gatorade is the perfect way to replace the missing electrolytes to help get your body balanced again.
Furniture Polish
Strangely enough, Orange Flavored Gatorade can also be used as a furniture polish. The drink contains orange extract which can help bring a shine to dulled wood furniture. Combine a half a bottle of Orange Gatorade with a half a bottle of water. Pour a small amount on either the wood directly or on a soft washcloth – swish over furniture then follow up by buffing furniture with another dry, clean soft cloth.
Hangover Cure
One of the worst side effects of a hangover is the massive headache that could accompany it. Gatorade works wonders in making that headache go away almost immediately as it replenishes the lost salt and potassium that your body is missing. Gatorade is definitely an item you should stock in your house the night before you plan on drinking.

Gatorade also works very well in helping to relieve menstrual cramps because it adds extra potassium to your body.
